DC Bocce League & Lou's City Bar
If you live in Washington DC or nearby you should consider joining the DC Bocce League. In addition to other venues, they have league play on at least 2 Boccemon surfaced bocce courts. The first business to install a Boccemon oyster blend bocce court was Vinoteca, a romantic wine bar/bistro offering small plates and entrees. Outside there’s a patio with bocce court that is located in the U Street corridor of Washington DC. Two courts at Highland Park sit between condos and businesses. They were inspired by one of the founders of the league John Groth in 2012.
DC's best recreational sports league w/ locations across DC, VA & MD. Running year-round indoor & outdoor bocce leagues plus social & charity events. Follow their shenanigans on Instagram.
Highland Park / Lou's Thursdays

The DC Bocce League was founded in 2004 by a close group of friends on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. After playing with other recreational leagues around town, the founders decided to put together a social sports experience that was more in tune with their lifestyle. Bocce was the obvious choice! Easy to play, bocce creates a space for players to engage in friendly, casual competition (often with a drink in hand). The League instantly attracted an assorted group of people in their 20s and 30s looking for an excuse to share a unique meetup experience.
